Hello all,


Please keep a note of the below :)


If a customer is amending their order and it contains cuts (carpets, grass and vinyl) then you need to do one of the following:
 
If delivery is for tomorrow:
Credit the old order
Raise the new order
Add to OA as a “reallocation” listing the old and new order numbers
Put the new order number on the old order and the old order number on the new order​ in the notes
 
If delivery is for a later date than tomorrow:
Credit the old order
Raise the new order
Add to OA as a “cancellation” listing the old order number
Put the new order number on the old order and the old order number on the new order in the notes
 
Basically this is because if the order is for a future date (not next day delivery) then usually the cuts wont have been cut (they tend to be cut the day before delivery) so we can just cancel and reorder. 
If they have been cut then we will auto reallocate anyway. But you must follow the above processes exactly as it is stated.


Following on from this, you do not need to add the original MGON number to the notes on the new orders. Our processing team will add these. Please do not add these yourselves.
